Pretty Pink Posh April Release Blog Hop

Hello Crafty Friends! Thanks so much for joining me during today's Pretty Pink Posh Blog Hop for the April 2019 release. This release has so much to offer, cute critters, florals, a full background die & even stencils! Great for Mother's Day, Father's Day, Graduation and more...

And some more exciting new! As part of this hop there are 4 $25 gift certificates up for grabs (two winners each day). Winners will be picked randomly along the blog hop. Comments must be left by 11:59 PM PST on 3/13/2019. Winners will be announced on the PPP blog.

This card was made with distress oxide ink blended onto Bristol cardstock. I used Mermaid lagoon around the edges and peacock feathers in the middle. I spattered the whole thing with copic opaque white that I now keep in a mini mister mixed with water. Works great for the look I want. I copic colored the leaves from the Spring Wreath set with BG78, 75 & 72. The elephants from the new Elephant Friends stamp set are done with N4, 2 & 0 and a little R11 for the ears. The frame I made with the Storybook 3 die; I just trimmed out the middle. I used some white nuvo drops as the final accent. The sentiment from the new Fathers Day stamp set is white heat embossed directly on the background. I know a brand new dad that this card will be perfect for with that adorable baby elephant perched on top.

And this one was put together much the same way. I used some Pine needles and cracked pistachio on this version and I darkened the edges with black soot. I used the Storybook 3 dies again and this time I used the inside panels that were cut when I made the frame for the previous card. Along with the new Animal Signs I used a tiny Koala from Koala friends; it just works so perfectly with the new set. I think this makes the perfect grad card or any occasion you'd like to tell a loved one they've done a good job. The copics I used for the Koala were the W5, 3, 1 & 0 for the baby with a little R11 again for the ears and cheeks.

Lastly I have another fathers day card featuring the new mini Fathers Day stamp set. I'm going to be making a version of this card in a class I am teaching at Craft Fancy next week along with more Pretty Pink Posh! Call the store at (847) 670-6065 if you want to sign up (for those in the Chicagoland area). This version is made with ny Tombow Dual Brush pens and then spattered with some black soot distress ink. The sentiment is white heat embossed on some black cardstock and foam mounted to the card.
