My good friend Jenn Shurkus (Shurkus.com) has been doing the Get Cracking series for several years. Each month on the third Thursday she will be posting new inspiration and hopefully encourage you to get Cracking on Christmas!
If you want to participate (and there is a prize!) head over here to the link up! Or use the hashtag #getcrackingonchristmas on Instagram to participate.
This month we are getting in on the new Hero Arts Stay Crafty Challenge #staycraftywithhero Every week they have a new theme to help us stay motivated and get our craft on!
On that note I am creating today using Hero Arts products. Today's card features the Build a Tree set.

For this card I started by stamping the pine branches in Pine Needles distress oxide ink and the berries in festive berries of course! I took a green card front that matched well with the ink and used distress inks this time to blend first with Pine needles and then with chipped sapphire to darken the edge. To add the snow I used Gansai Tambi Starry Colors in the color white gold. Because of the dark background I decided to stick with a white banner for contrast and I stamped out the sentiment from the same stamp set in black ink. I added a bit of sparkle to the berries with diamond stickles. And done! Simple but elegant & great for mass production for the holidays!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
