Hello Crafty friends & Hoppy Easter! Today's card features a little stamp set from Avery Elle designed by Elena called, you guessed it, Hoppy Easter! Its an adorable, affordable set to make some easy Easter cards with.
I used some distress watercolor paper to cut my panel using the smaller Wonky Stitches Elle-ments die. I used distress ink in Broken China to put down a background wash. I then stamped my images and sentiment right onto the water colored panel. I also used distress ink to watercolor the egg using Peacock Feathers & Mermaid Lagoon with just a touch of Cracked Pistachio on top.
The sweet little bun was colored using E55, E53 & E50 copics with a little R11 for the cheeks and ears. Yes you can use copics on watercolor paper, it just sucks up more ink. I don't find it to be an issue. I stamped a few tiny hearts using the peacock feathers for a final touch.
Lastly I added grey and white striped pattern paper border and grabbed this dotted tone on tone paper from my small pattern paper stash.
Thanks for stopping by!
