Its Almost Pumpkin Time! - Pretty Pink Posh

Hello Crafty Friends! I have a quick card to share with you all today. Just lots of my favorite thing, Ink blending! I used the new Stencil from Pretty Pink Posh Pumpkin Background Stencil and a simple sentiment from the Fall Signs stamp set. Perfect to let someone know you are thinking of them and grateful for their kindness. I added some Raspberry Jewels to finish off the card.

I used all my orange distress oxide inks on this one; Ripe Persimmon, Spiced Marmalade, Fossilized Amber & Dried Marigold. I used the Pixie Spray on the back of my stencil to hold it down and then used a blender brush for my oxides. The sentiment is white heat embossed on black.

Pretty Pink Posh August Blog Hop

My card today is a shaker card! This features the Boo coordinating dies that I used to make the main window for my shaker. I used Blueprint Sketch, Faded Lilac and Black Soot distress oxides to blend on my panel before die cutting. I also used some gold watercolor to splatter like stars across the panel. The background of the shaker features only Faded Lilac. The mix I used inside is actually a combination of Winter Sparkle Mix (Minus the snowflakes) and Silver Mini Star Confetti. Lastly I stamped the sentiment in black ink from the Boo stamp set.

Pretty Pink Posh August Release 2019

Happy New Release day crafty friends; See the new arrivals at Pretty Pink Posh!

I don't know about you but Fall is definitely my season so I was super excited to get this release. Halloween is a big deal in my house. We decorate; we trick or treat for several days (there are lots of "trunk or treat" and store "treat" days by us!). So of course I had to make a Halloween Card!

This card features the new coordinating dies from the Boo Stamp set. I used the dies by themselves and decided to use some of the new stencils being released; there are six new stencils! The B is ink blended using Blueprint Sketch and Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide Ink and splattered with gold watercolor. The first O is using the new Spider Web stencil and ink blended with Black Soot distress Oxide ink. The last O is using the new Pumpkin Background stencil blended with Ripe Persimmon and Dried Marigold distress inks. I also used some of the new jewel packs; Boo, to accent  and splattered a simple white background with more black distress ink.

This is a full view of the Pumpkin Background stencil. I used all the inks pictured; Spiced Marmalade, Dried Marigold, Wild Honey & Fossilized Amber. There are so many amazing stencils in this release you have to check them all out. Get the bundle here!

In this class you will make a selection of 6 mini cards featuring Lawn Fawn stamps and dies. Class will focus on distress ink background techniques and a little bit of copic coloring. This class can get a little bit messy but it's a whole lot of fun!

Sending Sunshine - Pretty Pink Posh

Hello Crafty Friends! I have one more card to share with you from the Tropical release from Pretty Pink Posh. We can't wait to start sharing sneaks of the new August with you shortly but in the meantime please enjoy this fun, bright, tropical Flamingo card!

I started this card with the background. Each panel that makes up the card I made with ink blending distress oxide inks using blending brushes on Neenah 110lb paper. I find this combo works best for me. I was ready to give up on the brushes before finding what worked for me.

The sky is done with Dried Marigold, Picked Raspberry and Abandon Coral (which is hidden so not important). The next layer is my sand and I simply used scattered straw. The last panel is the water and I used Peacock Feathers and Mermaid Lagoon.

Copic Markers used:
Trees E41, E43, E44; YG23, YG21, YG00
Flamingos: R20, R32, R11 for Flamingo 1 & R81, RV10 & RV11 for the 2nd with a wash of R20 to warm it up.
