You are Brave - Pretty Pink Posh

Hello Crafty Friends! Can you believe its already the last day of August? This is my last (obviously) card for August for Pretty Pink Posh. Another slimline, I'm totally on the bandwagon with this size. Its fun to break out of the normal size range. This is another card featuring the Hibiscus Flowers stamp set along with the Simple Sayings: Brave stamp set. Finished off with my favorite Sparkling Clear sequin mix.

Distress Oxide background was done by blending on some Worn Lipstick and then stamping over that blending using the same color. I did a tiny bit of copic coloring to the centers of the flowers with RV10 and that was it!

Love you Magnolia - Pretty Pink Posh

Hello Crafty Friends! I know I don't often to floral cards, they are waaaaaaaay outside my comfort zone but I love all of the Pretty Pink Posh florals so I am trying to use them more. I find her floral design style more approachable.

This card features the Magnolia Flowers. We have a giant Magnolia tree behind my mothers house that has the most gorgeous blooms every year. Since my favorite color is yellow that is the color I chose for these. I used my copics! These are a simple blend of Y13 & Y000 with a hint of Y35 right near the base of the petals for some added contrast.

The background was masked off with some tape and then I did a very light inking with some tumbled glass distress oxide. I used one of my biggest blending brushes as I find the bigger brush surface lets me get a really good light ombre effect. I stamped my sentiment right onto the background. The flowers are glued flat to the card for easier mailing. I finished off the card with some sparkling clear jewels.

Missing You - Pretty Pink Posh

Hello Crafty Friends!Today's card features a quick and simple idea that can be mass produced fairy easily. I wanted a bunch of cards to be able to pop in the mail for friends and family during this very isolating time. I just love the sentiment sets from Pretty Pink Posh and found so many of them will work for this design. I was heavily inspired by someone's shirt I saw on Instagram, ha! Inspiration can strike at the strangest times but I loved the boldness of the design.

I started with the background; first I thought Id mask everything but then kicked that because it would take a lot longer. So I just inked a plain 110 lb Neenah panel of white cardstock with Dried Marigold and Abandon Coral. Then I stamped and cut out a bunch of the images from Hibiscus Flowers that best matched the print I saw on the T shirt. I did no coloring! I wanted the contrast of the black and white against the bold background. I took a sentiment from Everyday Greetings and white heat embossed it and cut a simple square. I did foam mount it but you wouldn't have to for ease of mailing. And I couldn't resist a little bling to fill in some of the empty spaces so I used some Graphite Jewels. And that's it! It would work for so many people! Just change the sentiment and the colors.

Yellow Tulips - Pretty Pink Posh

Hello Crafty Friends, I have another Pretty Pink Posh tulip card today. Yellow is one of my favorite colors so I couldnt reist some yellow tulips to cheer me up. Ive been making lots of cards to send to friends and I know someone else who could use this cheery yellow card.

The background is done with ink blending distress oxides. First I put down a layer of shaded lilac and then over that I used a soft hand with blueprint sketch. Those two colors together make this very pretty periwinkle color I am just in love with.

The tulips are done by stamping them in Lawn Fawns new Jellyfish ink which I love for no line coloring. The color for the tulips is 050 yellow which I put in the places I wanted to be darkest. I then blended out the color using the blender pen (which has disapeared and its driving me crazy!) I did the same for the leaves which are done in 041 light green. Lastly I added a few Pretty Pink Posh clear droplets.

Miss You - Pretty Pink Posh

I didn't make a traditional red, white an blue Memorial Day card this year. Not that I don't have a service member to remember and honor today because I do. I just felt like today I would make a card with a sentiment that says how I feel instead & send it to someone who I want to know that I am thinking of them. This one is for Jacob's mom.
