Moose Be - Lawn Fawn CF DY

Hi! Back again with another card today for Craft Fancy, a store in Arlington Heights, IL. Be sure to check them out. They have a huge selection of Lawn Fawn and Mama Elephant; plus Wplus9, MFT stamps, Avery Elle, Taylored Expressions ... etc.

Onto Today's project:

This moose has a special place in my heart. I'm originally from Canada and used to see Moose all the time. Now I live near Chicago and we never see moose or beaver. It makes me so sad! Anyways I used the stitched rectangle stackables to create the landscape and the Mama Elephant Landscape trio (I don't own the LF ones, not sure why! Will have to fix that! ha!) I used copics to color him in. I wanted to keep it fairly simple so I could make a bunch of these for Valentines Day.

Supplies:
Small Stitched Rectangle dies - Lawn Fawn
Landscape Trio creative cuts - Mama Elephant
Critters in the Arctic - Lawn Fawn
Strawberry Line Dance paper - Lawn Fawn

Plaid about it - Lawn Fawn CF DT

Happy New Year! My first post of 2016 & my first design team post for Craft Fancy!
I've been a regular at their store for many years now and love seeing the ladies there all the time. It's where my love of Lawn Fawn began as well. They had one small little section with some older stamp sets. I bought one and ended up going back and buying them all. Slowly this has grown into a whole wall section of all the Lawn Fawn products. So if you are in the Chicagoland area I highly suggest a visit!

Onto my card for today:

I made this card today using distress inks for the background in festive berries and black soot along with Tim Holtz watercolor paper. I used the tutorial from Kristina Werner here. I used I simply adore buffalo plaid and am thrilled its on trend right now.  The bear, scarf & sentiment are from Lawn Fawn along with the rectangle dies with the stitching and the tag die. I wanted a more masculine card as I have so many birthdays for the men in my life during the winter months and I was running low on cards. I find making masculine cards the hardest.

Supplies:
Party Animal - Lawn Fawn
Baaah Humbug - Lawn Fawn
Small Stiched Rectangle stackables - Lawn Fawn
Stitched Lables - Lawn Fawn

I'm in love with these tropical stamp sets.
I have a habit of making shakers and this time was no exception.
I used distress ink for the background & the Tiki Party stamps.

I just can't get over the volcano! I just want it to erupt sequins all day long.

Hope you liked it!
Thanks for stopping by.

Yeti & Bigs

Hi! I haven't posted in a while. Got a new card for Lawnscaping Challenge. I adore texture for winter cards because I really love snow.  I made the yeti into a Bigfoot so the yeti had a little friend. I used masking pen over them so I could shade the background. I use the molotov pen. Its a ton of fun. I got mine at Hobby Lobby if you can't find it. Its by the painting section not the crafter's section. I used wink of stella for some snowflakes in the background and snow is embossing paste. I love it for the snow, its got lots of height to it. And the brown background is a wood texture embossing folder.

Tiki Time - MFT stamps

So I just had to make a quick second post about one of my new cards. I saw the new release from MFT stamps and immediately thought of this card. I bought both sets just because I adore tropical themed cards. I made the shaker with probably every red, yellow, pink and gold sequins I own. Ha! Keep an eye out for several more cards like this. As usual follow me on instagram for my latest and greatest!

I was also featured over on the MFT blog for this card, so go check it out!
